The Discipline/Safety Committee met on September 25, 2002 at 3:15 p.m., in the SHS library. Members present were Loren Beswick, Chairman, Dennis Hartz, Connie Jones, Roberta Fredericks, Cathy Koesler, Lynn Heffelfinger, Barb Morse, Rita Kelly, Becky Reiley, Jean Sanders, Bob Ptak and Dotty Bruns, Recording Secretary.

A review of the minutes from the last meeting was held. It was stated that we have two fire drills this month, Wed., October 2 @ 1:00 p.m. and Tuesday, October 15 @ 9:00 a.m. We will be holding another meeting next week and will look at the Crisis Plan at that time.

Cameras in School - This is in the process and may become a reality this year.

Identification Signs - It was agreed by the committee that they would like to have them if possible this year.

Detention Pads - Jean Sanders reviewed the form and what items it would contain with the committee such as several carbons, reasons, etc.

Blue Lines - Bob Ptak suggested that they be at the bottom of the stairways and discussed some of the problems.

Parking Lot - Committee would still assigned parking in the faculty parking lot.
