The tutoring program is up and running. We have had 7 students at the first two sessions. Current tutoring times are 3:15-4:00 on Mondays and 2:15-3:00 on Tuesdays.

There was a discussion centering around how the program should be coordinated. A parent has volunteered to manage the program. Janet Freed will be contacting this parent and putting her in touch with our committee.

Through a grant there will also be two bilingual tutors available in addition to the three tutors already being provided.

Mr. Neahring will also be available to any students needing Math expertise during the tutoring sessions.

Once the program has all of the details worked out we will begin to promote it as much as possible.

Look to expand to mornings if we have the need.

Ask for teacher volunteers on wednesdays to help tutor. (excusing them from the meeting if possible).

Explore the possibility of using our own students as tutors.

Get copies of all texts so the tutors have access to them.

Check on computer criterion program to see if tutors could have access to it to help with student revisions.
