· Tom Depasqale spoke with Deb McDonald of the Bethany Home, which is out of the Quad Cities, who said she would be willing to meet with our committee and support group.

· The Bethany Home provides support in many forms for pregnant teens, from monetary support to employment support, among other areas.

· The Home also has an anonymous donor that buys gifts for the babies of the girls from the home.

· Janet Barnhart & Elisa Gatz reported on the first support group luncheon that was held on 10/29/02. Four students attended, three with children, one pregnant. The girls were very open and seemed to really enjoy being able to talk to others in their situation. They were open to meeting with the support group as often as possible.

· Janet, Elisa, Tom and Chris Ducoing are going to work on getting the girls who need it signed up with the Bethany Home.

· Janet and Joie Roddy are still in the process of setting up school visits. There has been some delays due to the other schools not responding.

 · Mary Rhodes has the letter drafted and ready to mail out to community members inviting them to one of the committee's meetings. The committee decided to have that meeting during the first Building Committees Meetings in January.
