Mr. Henderson graduated from Rock Falls High School in 1978. He attended Sauk Valley Community College and Northern Illinois University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Education. He taught at Nelson Elementary School for nine years and was the boys and girls basketball coach. He came to Sterling Schools in 1996 and taught 5th Grade at Jefferson School before coming to Lincoln this year. Mr. H. also coached 7th grade boys basketball at Challand for five years and Varsity girls softball for the Golden Warriors for 4 seasons. He is presently coaching softball for Rock Falls High School.
Mr. Henderson lives in Rock Falls with his wife, Candie, and his two children. Chad is a senior at Rock Falls High School where he is a member of the golf team, plays lead trumpet in the band, and is student assistant for the Runnin' Rockets Basketball Team. Shauna is a sophomore at R.F.H.S.. and enjoys softball and drama.
Mr. Henderson enjoys camping, coaching, and watching the Green Bay Packers. He considers teaching 5th grade his biggest hobby and is enjoying his first year at Lincoln School. His favorite book is Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Day.
