Mrs.
Douglas has taught for Sterling
Schools since 1980. She
graduated from Belvidere High School.
Mrs. Douglas attended Western Illinois
University for two years and then
transferred to Southern Illinois
University to complete her Special
Education degree. Her husband,
Rick, is a history teacher at CMS.
They have two children. Their son,
Eric, graduated from SHS in 2004.
Their daughter’s name is
Kate. Mrs. Douglas enjoys reading
books. She likes to read books
by James Patterson and John Grisham.
In the summer months she enjoys
golfing and spending time with
family.
