Third Grade

Mrs. Albert

After graduating from Northern Illinois University in 1971, I first taught in Rochelle, Illinois, and near Champaign, Illinois, while my husband attended college and law school. For the next nine years, I stayed at home to raise our two sons but kept in touch with education by doing substitute teaching. I presently teach third grade at Lincoln School and have been with Sterling Schools since 1985. In the summer of 2002, I completed my Master's Degree in Best Practices of Teaching and Learning.

I enjoy playing an Appalachian folk instrument called the dulcimer and belong to a small group of dulcimer players called "The String-Alongs." My husband and I love to travel. We also enjoy snow skiing with our sons. Right now we are having fun being "the proud parents" of an English springer spaniel puppy named Jack!
