| After graduating from Northern Illinois University in 1971, I first taught in Rochelle, Illinois, and near Champaign, Illinois, while my husband attended college and law school. For the next nine years, I stayed at home to raise our two sons but kept in touch with education by doing substitute teaching. I presently teach third grade at Lincoln School and have been with Sterling Schools since 1985. In the summer of 2002, I completed my Master's Degree in Best Practices of Teaching and Learning.
I enjoy playing an Appalachian folk instrument called the dulcimer and belong to a small group of dulcimer players called "The String-Alongs." My husband and I love to travel. We also enjoy snow skiing with our sons. Right now we are having fun being "the proud parents" of an English springer spaniel puppy named Jack! You can email Mrs. Albert at: |
