Sterling, an award-winning technology solutions provider, is pleased to announce its recent placement on the U.S. Army’s Information Technology Enterprise Solutions 4 Hardware (ITES-4H) contract, a 10-year, $10 billion, multiple-award IDIQ contract managed by the U.S. Army’s Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) Digital Market program. It enables the Army, DoD, and authorized federal agencies to procure IT hardware, peripherals, and related incidental services.

Beginning with a five-year base period, followed by an additional five-year option period, ITES-4H is divided into seven key hardware categories, the products for which will be sourced from a select group of the industry’s top manufacturers, including Dell Technologies, Juniper, Cisco, HP, Black Box, APC, Samsung, LG, and Poly. More precisely, the scope of the contract allows for the purchase and lease of servers, workstations, and thin/zero clients; storage systems; networking equipment; peripherals and other assorted accessories; communication and power devices; standalone displays; installation, configuration, and maintenance services; and select software, such as Enterprise Software Agreements (ESAs), non-variations, and other related incidental services, accessories, and options.

As one of only 49 total awardees, Sterling, alongside its fellow contractors, secured a position in all seven of the aforementioned hardware categories. With nearly 30 years of experience orchestrating best-in-class outcomes for the Federal Government, Sterling is well positioned to perform on the contract, offering a myriad of advantages including acquisitional efficiency through a simplified procurement process; deep cost savings through competitive pricing; peace of mind through stringent adherence to regulatory and compliance standards; and three strategically located Configuration, Integration, and Distribution (CID) Centers, from which the solutions provider offers a comprehensive suite of tailor-made client services.

“Earning placement on ITES-4H is an incredible honor, and responsibility,” said Brad Moore, CEO of Sterling, “and it’s not one we take lightly. Similar to the results we’ve attained for clients on other government contracts, we’re eager to focus on driving capabilities and value for our Army customers, doing so with an elite, highly certified engineering team; a staunch, unwavering commitment to supply chain risk management; and a mission-focused, results-driven approach to our solutioning.”

The initial ordering period for ITES-4H commences later this fall, on November 20, 2025. For more information regarding the contract, and how Sterling can best serve you, please visit sterling.com/contracts/ites-4h/

Sterling, an award-winning technology solutions provider, announced today that CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Sterling a 2025 Triple Crown Award winner. This elite recognition is awarded to solution providers who have been honored on three specific CRN lists in one calendar year.

Those lists include the Solution Provider 500, which ranks the largest IT solution providers operating in North America based on revenue; the Fast Growth 150, which spotlights the fastest-growing solution providers; and the Tech Elite 250, which recognizes companies who attained the highest-level certifications from leading technology vendors in the industry.

Making any of these three lists is a notable achievement in and of itself, but being featured on all three in the same year demonstrates an exceptional level of business acumen, a focus on innovation, and a dedication to building technical expertise.

“It’s gratifying to be recognized in this manner,” said Tim McCabe, President of Sterling, “because, at its core, the Triple Crown Award represents a year’s worth of consistent, high-caliber performance from our team, which has committed itself, in each of these three fundamental areas, to always raising the bar and to never settling for anything less than extraordinary.”

“Triple Crown Award winners represent the pinnacle of performance in the channel,” said Jennifer Follett, Vice President, U.S. Content, Executive Editor, at CRN, The Channel Company. “These solution providers consistently demonstrate a deep commitment to technical excellence, innovation in their offerings, and leadership across the industry. We applaud their achievements and look forward to watching them continue to set the standard for success.”

This partnership follows official approval by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) under the SBA Mentor-Protégé Program.

The newly formed venture combines Sterling’s deep federal expertise, contract performance history, and industry buying power with Centex’s agility and innovation. Together, the firms will offer scalable, secure, and mission-focused IT services across federal and SLED/C markets.

Sterling, an award-winning provider of transformative technology solutions, is pleased to announce that the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) Foundation has recognized the solutions provider alongside NVIDIA and Dell Technologies as one of its three 2025 Corporate Partners of the Year, a distinction owed to the trio’s leadership and contribution in the deployment of advanced simulation technologies and an artificial intelligence ecosystem at the Naval Postgraduate School, both of which will accelerate the institute and the federal government’s strategic adoption of AI.

To that end, the 2025 recipients worked in concert to facilitate the integration of advanced commercial capabilities into the educational and technical activities on the NPS campus, empowering students, faculty, federal sponsors, and industry partners with cutting-edge resources.

“Transformative innovation happens when education, technology, and collaboration intersect,” said Chris Cyr, CTO of Sterling. “The Naval Postgraduate School is building an environment where students, researchers, and partners can experiment with real-world tools in real time. We are proud to help bring that vision to life by integrating platforms that support AI, simulation, and rapid solution development.”

NVIDIA formalized its relationship with NPS in late 2024 and rapidly brought in Dell, Sterling, and other collaborators to ensure mission effectiveness. Specifically, the technology giant contributed access to its Omniverse platform, Deep Learning Institute resources, and other on-the-ground support from embedded technologists and engineers. Dell and Sterling, for their part, delivered the hardware, storage infrastructure, and systems integration required to deploy Omniverse at NPS, marking a first-of-its-kind capability within the Department of the Navy.

“Substantive contributions from partners like Sterling are how we accelerate the development and adoption of capabilities that enhance mission readiness, strengthen deterrence, and advance impactful global initiatives,” said Todd Lyons, Executive Vice President of the NPS Foundation. “It is a privilege to recognize the contributions of Sterling, Dell, and NVIDIA to the Naval Postgraduate School and our national security. We are stronger together!”

Through the aforementioned investments in hardware, software, and services, the NPS Foundation’s three Corporate Partners of the Year are fueling AI-enabled research and supporting the creation of modeling and simulation tools, AI platforms, and collaborative environments that advance education and operational capability development.

To support and sustain that infrastructure, programming, and related collaborative work, the NPS Foundation itself has (so far) committed $5 million to the operation, maintenance, and application of the hardware. This sum includes funding for personnel, applied research, experimentation, and capability development that leverages the technology, tools, and resources provided by the partner triad. The NPS Foundation’s investment enhances curricula, deepens collaboration with industry and federal sponsors, and advances efforts to accelerate AI implementation.

Disclaimer: The Naval Postgraduate School Foundation is a non-federal entity. It is not part of the DoD or any of its components and has no governmental status. The presentation of the award by the NPS Foundation does not constitute endorsement of private sector organizations by the Naval Postgraduate School, the Department of the Navy, or the DoD.
