CMS Spring Concert

On Tuesday, May 8, the CMS Choirs will present their Spring Concert "Let's Groove". Songs include Singing in the Rain, The Locomotion, Shake, Rattle & Roll and others - all songs are related to dancing in some way.

What to Wear:

All students should wear something that is related to the 50's or 60's.

Blue Man Group

On Friday, May 11, the 7th & 8th Grade Choir students will be taking a field trip to see Blue Man Group in Chicago. There are only 55 tickets available, so they will be reserved on a first come basis. The cost is $68 for bus & ticket. Students who earned money during the fall fund raiser, may use a portion of their profit towards their ticket. For a permission slip, click here.

Sentimental Journey Tour

On March 20, CMS Choir students traveled to Avonlea Cottages and Heritage Woods Retirement Center to perform for the residents. The program included songs from the 1910's, 1920's and 1940's. Students did an outstanding job of singing and the residents enjoyed it immensely.

Choir Spring Concert

The CMS Choir Spring Concert will be held on Tuesday, May 8 at 7:00 p.m. All students are required to attend unless previously excused by the director. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Neff (rneff@sterlingschools.org).

Solo/Ensemble Festival

Congratulations to all of the Choir and Band students for their performances on Friday, March 2 at the Solo/Ensemble Festival. Top Honor Awards will be presented at a later date.

Patriotic Tour

On Friday, Sept. 9, choir students from Challand Middle School traveled to three area Senior Residences to perform patriotic songs in honor of the 10 year anniversary of Sept. 11th. Students sang for residents at Good Neighbor Center, Avonlea Cottages and Heritage Woods. For more pictures, please visit the Media Gallery page.
