What is a Biome?

A biome is a major of regional
biotic community  such as Desert or Grassland,  Characteristics Chiefly by the  dominant forms of plant life and prevailing climate. 

What is Tundra?

Tundra is treeless area between the icecap and the tree line of Arctic regions, having a permanently frozen subsoil and supporting low-growing vegetation such as lichens, mosses, and stunted shrubs.
