There are very many animals in the Grasslands. I picked five of my favorites. Lets start with the Giraffe. The Giraffe eats buds, leaves and fruits. Its habitat is savanna. And it is normally found in Africa and south of the Sahara. But don't forget the zoos. Next is the ostrich. The ostrich is too big to fly. But it is known for its speed. It is the fastest two legged animal. Then there is the Warthog. The Warthog is in the family with the pigs. It has long legs and a big head. They are found like in Africa, Natal and many more. Next there is the brown hyena. I think that they look funny. The Brown Hyena is a carnivore. It is usually found in Africa and South Africa. Last but not least the Lion. The Ferocious Lion. It is also a carnivore. It eats large mammals and small mammals. The male lion is way bigger than the female. But you would know that if you have seen Lion King!
