The action plan sets forth strategies
and activities to achieve specific
performance targets. Strategies focus
on those primal causal factors most
likely to help the school achieve adequate
yearly progress (AYP). Activities
are supported by scientifically-based
research (SBR) with a theoretical base. The
plan identifies the persons responsible,
describes the monitoring process for
implementation, details the budget
(sources, costs, and itemized amounts),
and specifies time expectations for
each activity. This section includes
professional development (6.3) and
family and community involvement (8.4)
activities as appropriate.
