Introduction

This school improvement plan is the culmination of an entire year of collaboration toward the continuous improvement of Challand Middle School in Sterling, Illinois.  Each section contains a description taken from the Illinois State Board of Education School Improvement Plan Rubric.  It is the intention of Challand Middle School stakeholders to fully implement all aspects of the school improvement planning process as outlined in the ISBE rubric in order to create a school improvement plan that has the most impact on student achievement.   If you have any questions about this school improvement plan or are interested in becoming part of our school improvement team, please contact the Challand Middle School office at 815-626-3300.
