General Personnel - Court Duty
Please refer to the "Agreement between Community Unit School District No. 5 Sterling
Association Support Personnel, IEA/NEA and Board of Education of Community Unit School
District No. 5."
For employees not covered by this agreement:
The District will pay full salary during the time an employee is on jury duty or, pursuant to a subpoena, serves as a witness or has a deposition taken in any school-related matter pending in court.
The employee shall endorse and tender the court duty remuneration check to the District.
An employee should give at least 5 days prior notice of pending jury duty to the District.
